Clackmannanshire bridge - abstract

Clackmannanshire bridge - abstract - Abstract, Macro & Unusual Images
This image was captured on the ‘very’ cold & frosty morning of 19th February 2013 around 7am.

The mirror like reflection of the bridge on the water was perfect & it was difficult to see where the bridge pillars stopped & the reflection began, also the glow from the morning sun lighting up the frosty mist on the far bank of the river Forth was just beautiful to see & I think adds to the ambiance of the image.

I decided to try an abstract style image as I hadn't seen this done before & I have to admit it is one of my personal favourites to date, it won 1st place in the Stirling District Camera Club annual competition & was chosen by the Scottish Photographic Federation to be part of their 2013 portfolio.
